A Passion For Teaching Critical Care

The ICU can be a scary place, especially as a new nurse. I understand and have been there too! This is why I want to help you succeed in this fast passed, high stress environment.

Eddie Watson

BSN, RN, CCRN Alum.

Eddie is 41 years old and has been a nurse for 12 years, graduating from Arizona State University in 2011.

He started off nursing for his first year in telemetry before finding his passion in critical care. He has worked in 3 different states from NC to SC to AZ, and has a diverse critical care background with time spent in Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU. He recently was a clinical manager for both Trauma ICU and CVICUs and currently works as a House Supervisor for a large Level 1 Trauma Center and University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Prior to nursing, he was an Infantry Fire Team Leader in the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division. He served a 15-month tour in Baghdad, Iraq before returning, separating from service, and heading off the school. He knew he wanted to continue to help people in some way, and critical care nursing allowed him to do just that, while keeping things exciting, challenging, and always seeing something new.
